Exhibition Road Show

The Exhibition Road Show, produced by DREAM (Di Robson Events and Arts Management), was a specially created ensemble of emerging circus artists who performed during the London Olympic Games in July and August 2012.

Directed by Australian Sue Broadway, the ensemble delivered a series of short choreographed dance works as well as a mixture of site-specific acrobatics and aerial pieces.

CircaNICA forged a partnership with The Exhibitionists to facilitate four emerging Victorian circus performers to participate. We received an Arts Victoria Cultural Exchange Grant to assist with their travel costs.

Emma Shepherd performed aerial harness in a huge aerial installation, Jess Niven performed aerial ring and bounce stilts, and Tayo Wilson performed Chinese straps and bounce stilts. It is predicted that 200,000 people saw the live performance on Exhibition Road and Piccadilly Circus.
