Lil Tulloch

Producer and Performer, Sydney.

Lil is a physical theatre performer and circus artist. Performing predominantly as an aerial artist she has featured in The Great Gatsby, performed with Opera Australia, Legs on the Wall, Stalker, Aerialize Sydney Aerial Theatre and has appeared in TVC commercials for QANTAS and Telstra.

She has been a resident member of New Zealand’s Circus Quirkus (2012-2016 NZ). In addition to “Gandini’s Medical Marvels”, Lil has taken self-produced works “Food For Thought” to Sydney and Adelaide Fringe Festivals (2012) and “Monica Goes To Rehab” (director) to Sydney Fringe. She was a key performer in “Clammy Glamour and the Curio Cabinet” which won Sydney Fringe “Award for Outstanding Independent Artist.” Alongside her love of performing she has published “A Bite of the Big Apple”, a co-authorship with Monica Trapaga, published by Penguin Lantern in 2013.

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA)

George Le Couteur and Lil Tulloch founded their own production company in Sydney. For the last few years they have been steadily building a circus hub in the inner west of Sydney. They have established an independent studio space and performance venue, as well as produced independent theatre works, roving interactive theatre and large scale performances for the commercial and corporate market.

Recently they have performed internationally through Europe, launched and produced two new shows, “The Boy Who Was Born With a Moustache” and “Dear Delphine; letters from a Dead Voodoo Queen” (Melbourne Fringe Festival 2016). They have toured New Zealand with Circus Quirkus (2011 -2016), performed at The Western Australian Circus Festival (2016), had a resident contract at The Star Casino (2016), and performed at The Mullumbimby Circus Festival (2015).
