Star of How to Train Your Dragon learned circus at NICA

Rarmian Newton, the young star of How to Train Your Dragon was at NICA earlier this year to learn acrobatic and aerial skills in preparation for his role. RZO Dragon Productions and Global Creatures, the masterminds behind the dazzling live show, chose NICA as it had the best facilities and team of trainers to guide their performer.

The arena spectacular recently finished its successful Australian tour, stunning crowds with their collection of fire-breathing animatronic dragons. Rarmian was grateful for his time at NICA. The physically demanding role required a variety of circus skills and he told the Western Weekender that he "did part-time training at NICA (the National Instititute of Circus Arts) (which) really helped with the acrobatic circus aspects of the show."

NICA was happy to assist the production team that previously entertained world-wide audiences with the very popular Walking with Dinosaurs.
