Aurora Kurth

After completing a course in Theatre Making at The John Bolton Theatre School (Melbourne), Aurora Kurth received her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts - Acting from The Actors Centre Australia (Sydney). In 2010, she completed her Solo Artist in Residence Program at Victoria University.

A highly sought after entertainer, renowned for her sublime vocals, cheeky comedy and sharp wit, Aurora brings her inimitable style and verve to every event. With a career in the performing arts spanning over two decades, the critically acclaimed singer, actor, comedienne and Mistress of Ceremonies has captivated audiences worldwide.

A master of understatement and elegance, she beguiles with the efficacy of the succubi! Be it intimate cabaret or gala ball, Aurora has the mastery and finesse to leave you mesmerized with her charms, assuring her audience, the unique and unforgettable experience of a lifetime!

In 2001, Aurora won the Melbourne Fringe Best Theatre Award for her co-devised show Finding The River. She then performed in the Musical Burning Embers as part of The Melbourne International Arts Festival.

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA)

In 2011, she appeared as Mary in the second season of The Termanativity, a pantomime presented by Bella Union, and she was cast as a lawyer in the feature film, Blockhouse Blues, directed by Ross McQueen (Blockhouse Productions). She devised, directed and performed in, ‘Cabaret Bastille’ – a comedy cabaret and burlesque show, commissioned by the iconic Theatre Royal, Castlemaine.

In 2016 Aurora was part of FOLA - Festival of Live Arts produced by Punctum. Recently she appeared as the MC/chanteuse for the national tour of the ‘Gangster’s Ball’ - a circus/cabaret/swing-dancing extravaganza produced by Graham Coupland, for the national tour of, ‘The Australian Burlesque Festival’ produced by Dolores Daiquiri, for ‘Burlesque 54’, a variety stage show, at the Cairns Casino.
