Mark McLauchlan

Mark began his training at a young age in the Australian Trampoline and Tumbling Team. During this time he competed in 4 World Championships, as well as a World Cup Series and Pan Pacific Games for Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline. In 2006 Mark graduated from the National Institute of Circus Arts after specialising in Tumbling, Handstands and other acrobatics.

After graduation Mark was contracted to perform Russian Bar and Trampoline in a touring show with Cavalia performing in Belgium, Germany, and Spain. In Quebec, the home of Cirque Du Soleil, Mark performed in Cirque du Soleil’s Les Chemins Invisible, before heading to New York City to perform Wintuk at Madison Square Garden again with Cirque du Soleil. Mark then began performing in resort shows in both Singapore and Malaysia.

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA)

Throughout this time Mark has worked for many corporate and community events, performing for clients such as Melbourne Museum, and The Commonwealth Games. Since then Mark has turned his sights to sharing his skills and knowledge in the circus arts coaching at various Circus, Dance and Pole Dance Schools around Australia.

After a contract with Club Med Resort Malaysia as a Circus and Flying Trapeze instructor and performer added to his love and exploration of the world of circus. During this time a change of focus and direction occurred with Mark focusing on training in Aerial arts, Pole dance and Yoga.
